This years summer fishing tournament, sponsored by local 21 with teams that included Police, Fire and EMS personnel was held on June 11, 2012.

It was sunny, very warm and also very windy. Fortunately, Big Marine lake is not a huge lake and the waves were fish-able with plenty of little bays to seek shelter from the wind.

First place was taken by a team from the State Patrol.

Second place was a team anchored by retired Ladder 22 driver Guy Peterson, Guy also won for largest overall bass at 3lb 6oz.

Third place team was from Allina EMS.

The largest fish over all was a 4lb northern pike, a very beatable fish if you want to try next year.
