We want to express our gratitude for supporting the MDA cause last week. Your support in fundraising allows us to fund important research for treatments and hopefully cures, local clinics in Minnesota to give specialized care, Minnesota summer camp in June for over 180 children with muscle wasting diseases, and repair and loan funds. 76 cents of every dollar given goes back to fund these important services. Fun Fact– if you are involved in volunteer work or philanthropic work, any non-profit that donates a 65 cents to a dollar or more, is considered a great organization to align with. It means they are good stewards of their dollars. Keep that in mind when you are looking at other contributions or organizations!
We received some questions about who MDA is and what the point of the organization is. Our mission is simple, “to save and improve the lives of those living with muscle disease.” We are grateful to work with all of you, and happy to answer questions you may have. PLEASE ask if you want to know more!
We hope to see you on October 25th, 2015 at our Water Park Party, where MDA families and sponsors are invited for a free event to enjoy the Water Park of America. Please RSVP while space is still available to glansing@mdausa.org or kstefanopoulos@mdausa.org – You are welcome to bring your families or children/grandchildren as well.
Thank you.
