Local 21 Brothers and Sisters,
As many of you are aware, Firefighter Dylan Mills was seriously injured in an off-duty motorcycle accident. The Mills Family is grateful for all the support Dylan has received while in the hospital. Thankfully, Dylan is now at home and his prognosis is good, but it's anticipated he will need several months before making a full recovery.
We want Dylan to be able to focus on healing. Fire Administration is requesting Local 21's assistance with filling Dylan's future shifts, calling for volunteers to pick up a day or two between now and October 4th. They've approved 24-hour shifts (preferred) and 12-hour shifts (as needed.) There is no expectation that Dylan will pay anyone back if someone covers a shift for him. All ranks are eligible to work. However, if you are promoted, you could be working back as a Firefighter. It is not necessary that you are a Paramedic. Dylan is a Firefighter assigned to the Pool on the (A) Shift.
Available shifts are posted HERE and will be regularly updated.

If you're unable to pick up a shift and/or looking for additional ways to support Brother Mills during his recovery, please consider donating to his GoFundMe. Thank you!
