Saint Paul Firefighters IAFF L21 extends our deepest condolences to the Kauffmann family, our Sisters and Brothers at MAC Fire IAFF Local S6.

It is with tremendous sadness that Local S6 announces the passing of retiree Jon Kauffmann. Diagnosed with glioblastoma brain cancer last March, Jon showed amazing courage and strength throughout his year long cancer battle. Jon joined Airport Fire on Tuesday 22nd March 2011, was promoted to Driver on Saturday 5th December 2020 and medically retired Monday 14th December 2020. Jon was a beloved, respected and irreplaceable member of our Airport Fire family and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. Please keep his family, friends, loved ones and fellow firefighters in your thoughts and prayers. Funeral arrangements are pending and will be posted as they become available.
